When I'm working intently on a project, I always have the desire to work on something totally unrelated. I've found it sort of takes the edge off the bigger project if I just let myself do it. I built a light box back in January when I was in a crunch to get my line finished. Every morning before I headed to LA, I'd photograph some old keepsakes I'd come across. It gave me something to look forward to besides obsessing over the fit of the line.
